Miley Cyrus Raking in Big Bucks– Salary Surveys of the Regular Folks Too

Miley Cyrus has been reported to have earned $18.2 million for 2007 according to the annual income survey issue‘What People Earn.’ This survey is published in the Sunday newpapers insert Parade magazine.
She isn’t quite as well to do as Oprah who made $260 million. Dr. Phil McGraw who’s career was started on Oprah earned $90 million. Ryan Seacrest who hosts ‘American Idol’ made $12 million. Meredith Viera now works for the ‘Today’ show and is said to have made $10 million.
The survey included 18 celebrities and 112 regular working folks. The highest paid non-celebrity made $3.5 billion last year. He is a 52 year old hedge fund manager. The lowest paid job position in the survey was a Peace Corp volunteer with a mere $2,900 for income.
A speech pathologist makes $85,000.
A language arts teacher makes $48,000.
A pilot makes $31,000.
A Clinical laboratory scientist makes $65,000.
